Um Chamado Revolucionário para as Diásporas

Desabafo do Big, da banda Dois Africanos:

Que Deus tenha misericórdia dos Brancos e que a sua mão mude os corações deles. Nós, Pretos do mundo precisamos aprender a mostrar que existimos e que estamos unidos. Não devemos apenas mostrar a nossa indignação nessas condições (caso Marielle). Devemos viver a negritude ao cotidiano. Devemos representar as origens em toda hora e todo momento. Devemos apoiar uns aos outros a todo momento. Nós, Negros devemos nos libertar entre nós, devemos quebrar as cordas mentais que não nos deixam nos amar. E nessa luta cada irmã e irmão é uma peça capital. Devemos se tornar UM Só. Superar a separação e desunião implantada em nós pela supremacia branca. Ser Negro deve ser signo de esperança para o mundo e não ser os servidores dos outros. Nós, somos os que sofreram e hoje ainda continuamos de lutar para poder viver. Irmãs e irmãos da diáspora africana, vocês sabem quanto a África chora por vocês ? Vocês sabem quanto fraca ela ficou depois que arrancaram vocês dos braços dela? A mãe cujos filhos foram tirados dela em condições humilhantes e que até hoje sente um vazio? O pior é ver que séculos depois, esses filhos continuam sendo tratados dessa forma. Condenados a viver o mesmo massacre dos tempos tristes da escravização nos dias de hoje nas terras que eles na maior parte construíram ao custo das suas vidas.

Mas tenham a esperança de uma vida melhor. Liguem as mentes e desliguem as TVs. E se essa é a vida que eles acham que nós merecemos então lutaremos se for necessário ao custo das nossas vidas para que isso PARE.

Outburst of Vivian Mouvi from the “Dois Africanos” band:

God have mercy on Whites and may His hand change their hearts. We together, the Blacks of the world, need to learn to show that we exist and that we are united. We must not only show our indignation under these conditions (Marielle’s case in brazil). We must live Black conscious in our daily life. We must represent our origins at all time. We must support each other at all time. We Blacks must break free, even between ourselves, we must break the mental shackles that do not let us love. And in this struggle each sister and brother is a great piece. We must become ONE. Overcoming the separation and disunity implanted in us by white supremacy. Being Black should be a sign of hope for the world and not be the servants of others. We are the ones who suffered and today we still struggle to live. Sisters and brothers of the African diaspora, do you know how much Africa cries for you? Do you know how weak it got after they yanked you out of its arms? The motherland whose children were taken from her in humiliating conditions and who even today feels a void? The worst is to see that centuries later, these children continue to be treated that way. Condemned to live the same massacre of the sad times of enslavement these days in the lands that they mostly built at the cost of their lives.

But hope for a better life. Turn on the minds and turn off the TVs. And if this is the life they think we deserve, then we will fight if it is necessary, at the cost of our lives for it to STOP.
